Anglicare Microsite
The Fat Duck is a fine dining restaurant in Berkshire, England, owned by the chef Heston Blumenthal. Known for its fourteen-course tasting menu and as one of the very few restaurants in the UK to achieve three Michelin stars, it achieved worldwide acclaim. The Fat Duck was the inspiration for Anglicare's Australian fundraising promotion 'Second Quack'.
Project details
The concept of Second Quack was aimed at food lovers who missed out on dining at the exclusive restaurant, to spend their 'hard-earned' on some of Victoria's most vulnerable.
Second Quack encouraged people to host a dinner party and raise a minimum of $525 — the same amount it cost for the chance to experience the iconic cooking of Heston Blumenthal.
To whom it may concern:
"...amongst many other projects, Simon was instrumental in the marketing of 'Second Quack', which was a fundraising initiative of Anglicare Victoria in response to the success of Heston Blumenthal's 'Fat Duck' restaurant phenomenon.
Simon created the front-end of the microsite including all HTML, CSS, Javascript and graphics under the instruction of Anglicare's in-house design department.
The project was completed within both time and budgetary constraints, and Anglicare were delighted with the results..."
